2018 was a year full of amazing music from all the different genres. I found music that I will take with me for years to come and some that I listened to, put in a list and then forgot I had. There was music from artists we’ve heard for years, music from new artists, but also music from artists and bands we haven’t heard anything from in a while. So it’s a big mix and I think we should go through my top 5 songs for each month and then my all-time favs from the whole year.

× Good Years - Zayn (honestly, can I just say 90% of Icarus Falls?)
As you can see, there's so many good ones, I might've missed a few good ones. But I think these are the ones that was my favs each month. But now you wonder, which one(s) were my fav from the whole entire year? Well, sit back, relax and I'm gonna try to find them for you.
I think the one that takes the number one spot will be High Hopes - Panic! At The Disco. That song has been played so many times, both the original, but also the White Panda Remix. I just get so happy listening to that song.
Another song that's up there with my all time favs is The Middle - Zedd. I can say this much, I get why that song is up for a grammy because it's just so amazing!
One of my fav artists right now, is Liam Payne, and he released a few songs this year and I'm trying to pick one of them, but I need to say two. Familiar came this summer and I became obsessed with that song, it's the perfect song to scream along to in the car with the windows down. And when you though it couldn't be better, this October he dropped Polaroid, a song with Lennon Stella and another of my favs Jonas Blue. This song is pure happiness. Lovelovelove it.
5 Seconds Of Summer also dropped their album Youngblood and there was a few songs that stuck out, mostly Youngblood and Want You Back. Great hearing them live too, just look at this.
Conor Maynard released a few collabs during 2018, since he can't release anything on his own, because of his label. But the collabs he's been releasing, they're so damn good. Hold On Tight with R3hab, Whenever with Kriss Kross Amsterdam, Remedy with our Swede Alesso but also How You Love Me, making a real wierd trio with Maynard, Hardwell and Snoop Dogg, well wierd trio or not, it was a bop. Hoping 2019 will be the year he can release som music on his own, but I'd love for more collabs if they're as good as last years.
I also need to add The Chainsmokers to some of my favs, even tho they dropped so many songs, but This Feeling is one of my top 5 all time Chain songs, really really good! Just sad that it wasn't out when we saw them live, well i guess I'll hear it next time? (Anna, you didn't see anything.)
Last but not least, Zayn Malik. He dropped a few songs and then boom, he dropped his album Icarus Falls in december. I am in love with that album. And don't ask me about one fav song, because I can't chose.. I Don't Mind, Good Years, There You Are, Talk To Me, Common, Fresh Air.. the list goes on and on, because the songs are just so good, absolutely love this album.
I was gonna add a few songs just randomly that I liked, but I figured I was just gonna say like the entire list.. I'm really bad at this, as you've noticed. I said to myself, 5 favs for the whole year, and what do I have now? 10? more? I'll get stricter with time, promise! Oh well, that only means the music was good and I'll take that any day, so here you have it, my favourites from each month and some of the all-time favs throughout the entire year.
2019 have only just begun, but there’s already some good music released. This year will hopefully be as good as last year, if not better. I’m hoping to get some more Conor Maynard music, but also get the debut albums from both Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson, and they should also drop their tour dates so I can scream along to their songs with them in front of me. I'm hoping to see a few new ones but also some of the bands that have come back from the dead. Maybe there will be a new High Hopes for me this year? I guess we'll have to wait and see.
Which one of these was your fav? Or do you have any others that I missed? Let me know!
Until next time,
Sayonara!
